Total Eclipse of the Park-Thompson Park Watertown

The City of Watertown sits directly in the center of the “path of totality” and at approximately 3:22 PM on April 8, 2024, Watertown will plunge into darkness for three minutes and 39 seconds.

To mark this momentous occasion, the City of Watertown will host “Total Eclipse of the Park” at historic Thompson Park. Beginning at 11:00 AM, the event will feature viewing opportunities, entertainment, food trucks, educational exhibits and more.

Please note, parking will not be permitted in Thompson Park.

Tickets are free, but due to limited capacity, we ask that all attendees obtain a ticket for entry. We will be providing access in and out of the park via a shuttle service. These shuttles will have multiple pickup points along Thompson Boulevard, and will run continuously throughout the event. All busses will be ADA accessible.
